How can I make a return?

Can I exchange a product that I ordered?

The easiest way to exchange your new, unused item is to initiate a return and place a new order through our website. This will allow you to get your new item quickly and avoid the risk of it selling out. We will refund your original purchase as soon as your returned item is received.

You can also initiate a return for exchange through our returns portal and specify the item you would like in exchange. We will hold that item (if available) until your return is received and processed. Upon processing your returned item, we will then ship your new item free of charge. Please remember some of our products are limited edition and an exchange is not always possible.

The item I received is defective. What do I do?

We stand behind our products 100%. While we strive to send perfection, every once in a while a defective item may slip through the cracks.

If you believe you have received a defective item, please contact our Customer Care team at hello@rags.com

Claims for defective items must be initiated and product returned to us within 30 days of purchasing. Please remember some of our products are limited edition and an exchange is not always possible. We are not able to offer discounts on defective merchandise. All defects are handled individually. Proof of purchase from rags.com or authorized retailer required.

Shipping

When will my order ship?

We strive to ship all orders, both domestic and international, within 1-3 business days of purchase.  (This means the package will leave our fulfillment center within 1-3 days from the date from date of purchase.) For expedited and priority shipping, orders will ship no later than the following business day.

We are unable to combine orders or refund shipping on multiple orders as all orders are shipped individually.

If an extended shipping window applies, it will be noted on that item’s individual product page.

Can I alter my order?

Please be sure you are purchasing the correct items and sizes with the correct shipping information as we are not able to alter an order once our fulfillment center has begun packing and shipping orders.

If you notice a discrepancy on your order, please email hello@rags.com. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to intervene before processing (our team ships quickly!) but, we will do our best.

What are your shipping policies?

Customers are responsible for providing the correct shipping information when an order is placed. RAGS is not responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect address. Reshipping of packages returned to RAGS due to an incorrect address can be re-shipped at the customer’s expense. Packages marked as delivered, but 'not received', are the customer’s responsibility to locate. We are not able to issue refunds on lost packages. (We highly recommend purchasing Route shipping insurance on all domestic orders.)

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We can ship to the following countries: USA, Canada, Australia, UK, Japan, Puerto Rico & Guam.

We do try to keep taxes and duties as low as possible, however, you will be responsible for your own country’s taxes and customs fees, if applicable. International taxes and fees are subject to change based on origin of product.

International shipping time varies by country and can take up to 6-8 weeks for delivery.

Not all countries offer continued tracking once your package has left the United States. If you are not able to locate your package once it has left the United States, please contact the shipping carrier.

What is Route+ shipping insurance?

With Route+ you don't have to worry about what to do if your order is lost, stolen, or broken. Simply file a claim here, and Route will refund or reorder your item(s). They typically respond to claims within 24 hours.

What is Afterpay?

Can I order a gift card?

Yes! Gift cards are available for purchase here.

All gift card purchases are final and non-refundable.

Gift cards are digital. If you are purchasing as a gift for someone else, you need to enter the recipients email address when checking out (or you can forward the gift card after it comes to your personal email).

The gift card is redeemed at checkout using the code given. Gift card amounts can be used in one purchase or multiple purchases.

Are items in my cart held until I check out?

Items in your cart are NOT held until you check out. All items go to the first customer to complete the purchase.

What is a pre-order?

Pre-order items are items ordered with the understanding that it will ship at a later date. Pre-order items are made to order and will be shipped within the extended shipping window specified on the product page. Because these items are made to order, we are not able to offer returns or refunds.

Any items purchased in the same order as a pre-order item will NOT be shipped separately. All items within a single order will be shipped together. (Please refer to individual product pages for shipping window.)

Cancellations requested after one hour of the product being released will not be accepted.

The item I want is out of stock, when will it be restocked?

Our limited edition styles rarely restock, as they are produced in limited quantities. Best Sellers and Essentials have deeper quantities and will be available longer but are generally not restocked.

How do I put a Rag on my child?

Our one-piece Rag features a patent-pending dynamic neckline, which stretches to allow your little one's whole body through. After placing legs through the leg holes, shimmy the Rag up and easily slide little arms in and out. It's a breeze putting on and taking off Rags, and so much faster and better than buttons and snaps!

How do I determine what size to order?

Measure your kiddo's height and weight and compare their measurements to our sizing chart.

Our products fit true to size, but keep in mind that fit depends on your child and fit preference. If you like the 'baggier' look, or your child is currently between sizes, we recommend sizing up for longer wearability.

We are proud that our product is hand-sewn. Please note, product length and width measurements are a median and there will be slight variance of the actual product from measurements given.

What fabrics do you use?

Most of our apparel items are made with a very soft, stretchy fabric. When shopping, please read each product description for further details on that specific product.

How do I care for and launder my Rags?

We love the cozy hand-feel, breathability, and the low maintenance nature of cotton. We believe this is the best fiber choice for your kiddos. Due to the nature of cotton, a small amount of shrinkage may occur.

We strongly suggest washing RAGS items in cold water and tumble dry on low, or hang to dry. For best results, do not wash together with abrasive items, such as jeans or zippered items.

Do not use stain removers containing peroxide as it can cause garment discoloration.

Due to the dying and printing techniques used to create custom fabrics, color transfer may occur. We recommend washing items on their own prior to wear.

I purchased two different styles of Rags in the same size; why is there a size variation?

Our clothing is cut and sewn by hand to ensure the highest quality. Slight variations within a size range may occur due to different fabric content between styles and the handmade nature of Rags.

There has always been a slight size variation and our products will continue to have a slight variation due to the processes mentioned above.

Please note, there is a small size variation between different body styles. For instance, dolman sleeves will fit differently in the chest than a standard sleeve.

I purchased two of the same item; why is there a variation in color?

Our unique fabrics and prints are custom made! Due to dying and printing techniques used to create custom fabrics, colors may vary slightly.
