We're Hiring | Wholesale Account Manager

As the Wholesale Account Manager, you’ll manage all retail stores carrying RAGS products, including Nordstrom. Your main responsibilities are to ensure our retail partners can purchase products from RAGS and have the support they need to successfully sell the products to their customers. This role is expected to work on average 25 to 30 hours per week (some weeks more and some weeks less). Because you are doing account management, we’ll expect you to respond timely to emails and phone calls/texts from our retail partners but there will be significant flexibility in outbound and proactive efforts to help increase sales of RAGS products to retail stores

Pay will vary depending on experience but will be an annual salary ranging between $30K and $50K. We will also provide a cell phone stipend to pay for your cell phone carrier since you’ll be utilizing your cell phone as part of your job.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with all our retail partners (boutiques and Nordstrom)

  • Receive booking orders (Pre-orders) for each season (Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter) and compile the orders so our production team and place POs with our factories

  • Provide product selection for retailers to place fill-in orders for at-once product by maintaining our wholesale Shopify site and by providing options to Nordstrom via their excel file

  • Manage the shipping of retail orders via communication with our fulfillment center to ensure retailer POs are shipping within the designated ship windows

  • Provide retailers with marketing assets such as imagery, signage, etc.

  • Develop strategies to improve sellthrough at our retailer’s locations

  • Hold semi-monthly Wholesale meeting with key stakeholders (product and production)

  • [Nordstrom Only] Fill out Nordstrom’s product listing catalog for approval in Nordstrom’s system

  • [Nordstrom Only] Assign UPCs internally for Nordstrom products and ensure all systems contain the information Nordstrom requires. Familiarity with UPCs, EDI, and excel are big bonuses.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of selling products into retailers, preferably selling apparel or soft goods into Nordstrom

  • Must be proficient in excel

  • Experience with Shopify is a major plus

  • Savvy with technology

  • Rigorous problem solver

  • BA/BS degree preferred

  • Excellent people skills
